Precision Energy Solutions (PES) specializes in energy recovery for applications of industrial process use, boiler water make-up, thermal energy storage systems, and generating electrical power. Wherever energy is recovered, there must also be a need for energy. This is not frequently apparent to a facility owner.
The chief area in which PES has performed is in heat recovery, primarily from boiler flue gas. This flue gas would normally be exhausted to the atmosphere. PES has developed a patent pending unit called a Thermsaver Heat Recovery System (THRS)
The Thermsaver Heat Recovery System (THRS) is a patent pending system which captures gas-fired boiler flue gas, directs it through our Thermsaver chambers and exhausts it to the atmosphere. The Thermsaver chambers contain fluid piping. The fluid is heated significantly (as high as 210°F). The heated water passes to various processes within the facility. Examples are boiler feedwater tanks, de-aereators, air handler heating/reheating loops, wash baths and water heaters. The system includes numerous electronic controls used to monitor and control dampers, air and water temperatures and flows, and BTUs. BTU meters track the energy saved. These controls are graphically displayed. The system can be monitored and controlled from any computer with network access. It can also be tied into the current boiler control system.
